11 March 2010 WIMBLEDON DOGS OUT OF THE TRAPS WITH A NEW LOOK!
Wimbledon Greyhound Stadium will next week unveil a new look and significant upgrade of its facilities.
London’s premier race track has seen refurbishment works totalling £400,000 dedicated to enhancing both restaurant and trackside amenities.

Situated in Southwest London, Wimbledon Greyhound Stadium the capital's premiere racing venue attracts a large cross-section of people. Wimbledon Stadium has set the standard for other dog racing Stadia to follow. Renowned for its excellent facilities and atmosphere.

RACE DAYS
Racing takes place every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. Doors open at 6:30pm, first race at 7:30pm.

ADMISSION
Adults = £5.00.
Children from 12 - 17 years = £2.50(does not include a racecard).
Children under 11 = Free of charge.

STAR ATTRACTION RESTAURANT: The most luxurious of the restaurants, sliver service waiting staff, serve an impressive and very affordable menu. Plus excellent views of the finishing line.
BISTRO RESTAURANT: Informal atmosphere, which is great for larger parties offering a great value menu including a 3 course set menu. Good view of the track as well as your own multi-channel TV at your table.

DIRECTIONS
BY RAIL: Tooting Broadway (Northern line), Haydons Road (Thameslink), Wimbledon (District line) or Earlsfield (from Waterloo). All stations are a short cab ride from the stadium.
BY TUBE: District line to Wimbledon station, then a short drive by taxi.
BY BUS: Bus routes 44, 77, 156 pass the junction at the top of Alexandra Road. The stadium is a short walk from the stop.
BY CAR: A219 turn left off the Alexandra Road into Plough lane via traffic lights. The stadium is on the left opposite The Plough public house.
