READING STADIUM IS NOW CLOSED.

The Smallmead Stadium, which was opened by the late Bill Dore in 1975 and for years run by his son Martyn before Gaming International took over the lease, shut its gates to greyhound and speedway racing with a 14-race ‘farewell' graded card the 18th of October 2008.

DIRECTIONS
BY CAR: Junction 11 On the M4. Take A33 Relief road towards Reading town centre. Pass the Retail park and the Madjeski stadium to next roundabout where the stadium is on the left.
BY RAIL: Reading Station, then taxi from station to stadium about 15 minutes.
